Belly Casting

What better way to capture the memory of your pregnancy! It is a fun, messy process, using plaster bandages. After the cast is molded it needs at least 24+ hours for it to fully dry. You can decorate your belly cast yourself or I can create a beautiful finish for you. To achieve the desired cast, you will be consulted on preference of position, pose and style. Coconut oil is applied to protect the skin where cast will be, followed by the belly casting materials which creates the form. The process takes about 30-50 minutes depending on how elaborate the cast is and an additional 10-15 minutes for the cast to set.

***Invite your closest friends and family to be apart of the plastering process to make lasting memories while bonding with belly and baby! Please advise on how many guests you will bring to your appointment, so I can plan accordingly. When should I make my belly cast? I generally recommend a belly cast be made between the 30 and 38 weeks of pregnancy. What should you wear? Wear something comfortable and preferably old since it may get plastered with mess (pun intended) during casting process. (Easily washes out though) Casting is usually made on bare skin, but I respect your modesty if you wish to wear bra or bathing suit top. For the lower part of your body, you can wear shorts or sweat pants capable of being rolled down.
